Dear Mr. Simpson:
This is in response to your letter dated July 9,1979 in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, documents showing the FY 79 Budget on Training and Travel for the flRC Office of Administra-tion, Office of Inspection and Enforcement, and Office of fluclear Regulatory Research as of June 15, 1979, and data on promotions in the Office of Administratior for FY 79.
In response to your request, please find enclosed the documents listed in Appendix A.
In addition to the listed documents, the following information is provided:

In a telephone conversation on August 2 between Mrs. Betty Wayman of my staff and a member of your staff, it was agreed that you would pay the search costs involved in responding to your request.
The charge for clerical searching is $5.00 per hour, as specified in 10 CFR 9.14(b).
Accordingly the cost of the required eight hours of clerical search is
$40.00.
Please send a check ior this amount, made payable to the U.S. fluclear Regulatory Commission, along with a copy of this letter, to the Director, Division of Rules and Records, Room VJtBB-4210, fluclear Regulatory Conmission, Washington, DC 20555.
