- , pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, a cooy of all documents pertaining to the importation into the United States, and disposal here, of nuclear waste materials from foreign countries.
The documents listed on the appendix have been found subject to your request.
Document 1 is available in the F0IA Folder 78-223 at the f;RC Public Document Room (PDR) located at 1717 H Street fl.W., Washington, DC 20555.
The charge for reproducing the records soi awu in the PDR is eight cents
($0.08) per page, as specified in 10 CFR 9.14(a) of the Commissiori s regulations. You will be billed directly by the PDR reproduction contrac-tor, Potomac Research, Inc.
Document 2 was referred to the Department of State (DOS) on February 5, 1979 for review and disposition under flRC F0I A-78-346.
The DOS will respond to you directly.
Documents 3 through 5 were prepared by the fiational Security Council (f4SC) and have been referred to the flSC for review, disposition and direct response to you.
A copy of the fiRC Rules and Regulations covering the export and import of nuclear equipment and materials (10 CFR 110) and a DOE Policy Announcement regarding Spent fluclear Fuel is enclosed.
