New Jersey Department of Energy Jersey Central Power & Light Rate Case (TMI)
Dear Sir:
This office has been appointed Special Counsel to the New Jersey Department of Energy in reference to an Application of the Jersey Central Power & Light Company for an emergency rate increase before the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities Commissioners stemming f rom the reactor incident at Three-Mile Island near Harrisburg, pennsylvania.
In prepar..ng this matter we find that we need the following dccuments:
a.
Any and all Regulatory Guides - relating to nuclear reactor safety which would be applicable to the reactor and facility at Three-Mile Island, Pennsy1'ania.
b.
A copy of the Statutory Report to the Congress on abnormal occurrences relating to the Three-Mile Island Ancident.
Copies of Transcripts of NRC investigatory c.
proceedings relating to the Three-Mile Island incident.
d.
Any additional information or materials which your office can make available concerning this incident purspant to the Freedom of Information Act.0 9 /
