PROGRESS REPORT FROM SOUTH CAROLIllA Ofl TRANSPORTATI0fl SURVEILLAflCE PROGRAM Enclosed is a progress report submitteo by South Carolina on its trans-portation surveillance program under contract with flRC and DOT.
The report covers cumulative data for work performed during the first nine months of the second year of the contract -- October 1,1978 to June 30, 1979.
During this period, South Carolina concentrated exclusively on monitoring shipments of rcdioactive waste headed for the Barnwell disposal site.
