Brush WellInan Occrany (Cbnservaticn Chemical Cccpany's custccer) uses anrrnium bifluoride to extract beryllium netal fmm ore. The hydrogen fluoride solution will be used to replenish this anmonium bifluoride. The liquid hydrogen fluoride will not be diluted significantly before or during use.

The waste streams containing these materials are directed to storage basins. 'Ihe handling of these waste stmams has been approved by the EPA from a chemical standpoint.

No "masting" or cther processes are utilized in the production of the teryllium metal thus precluding the evolving of a gasecus effluent.

We intend to transfer the liquid hydmgen fluoride soluticn from cu plant site to Ccnservatica Chunical Cccpany as scen as pcssible.
