_ Docket IJo. 70-1257 Gentlemen, I am in receipt of the information recently sent by fir. Rouse on Task I of the earthquake response to our Mixed Oxide Fuel l lant.
I find the results very interesting, but not altogether surprising.
I have the following comments:
1.
Has there been a sir'.ilar failure analysis of the ".0FP to the wind loadings derived by Dr. Fujita? If so, I would be extremely inter-ested in receiving a copy of that report.
2.
I! ave the comments of Chou and Coats been resolved to your satisfaction and theirs?
3.
When will Volume II on flooding be completed?
4.
Several references are of interest.
Can you please furnish copies of References 1, 2, 4 and 5 listcd 0:- page R-1?
5.
What natural phenomena recurrence period in years do you expect to be used for the design basis for these types of plants?
I find this analysis very useful and look forward to its completion with great interest.
