This is to confirm our telephone conversation of May 11, 1979, in which I advised you that the "NRC Staff Response t.n Applicant's Brief on Appeal from Prehearing Conference Ruling Upo.- Intervention Petitions" reflects (on p.4, footnote 1) the Staff's uncerstanding that ACEE intends to withdraw its petition for leave to intervene.
Enclosed is a copy of the Staff's response.
