Pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States Coast Guard and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission regarding Floating
.;uclear Power Plants, the following cocnents are forwarded to ycu for transmittal to Of fshore Power Syste=s (OPS).
The Coast Guard has reviewed the "Su w ry of Documents and Drawings submitted to U.S. Coast Guard for Approval and Not returned (Status as of June 5,1979)" prepared by OPS.
The following cocments are for your information:
a.
Material Toughness Test Program (MTP-302) was examined, found satisf actory and returned stamped " examined" by our letter dated 15 June 1976.
b.
Our records show receipt of a System Specification SS15A19 (Standpipe and Hose System) forwarded by your letter FNP-MNE-871 dated 28 Nove=ber 1978.
SS15A19 is not listed in the Sumnnry.
c.
Pre-Qualification Test Program for ABS Grade CS Material and Weldments (TS01A67) was examined, found satisfactory and returned s tamped " examined" by our letter dated 16 June 1976.
d.
Welding Procedures WEI-5 and WEP-W22 were examined, found satisfactory and returned stamped " examined" by our letter dated 16 June 1976.
e.
Mechanical Properties Testing of ABS Grade CS Steel, Program Status, March 25, 1976 was examined, found satisfactory and returned stamped " examined" by our letter dated 16 June 1976.
