RIV Docket I!cs. 50 h58/IE Bulletin 79-07 50 459/IE Bulletin 79-G7 In response to your IE Bulletin 79-07 concerning certain information about ceisnic analysis of cafety related piping, we provide the following:
In response to items 1, 2, and 4 our Architect Engineer (Stone and Webster) hac identified no computer codes which used any of the methods described in ite 1 of your bulletin.
In responce to item 3, our Architect Engineer has used IIUPIPE, version 03, levela 03 through 10 in the seistic stress analysis of safety related piping fcr River Bend Station Units 1 and 2.
Stone and Webster is addressinc; generic verification of this computer pracrat Stone and Webster inhouse bench-marking links all major versions of I;UPIPE to version 03/I.0.
We will provide an update on the final status of this bench-narking effort when it is complete.
