Activities conducted under applicable criteria of Appendix E of 10 CFR Part 71 to be executed with regard to transportation packages by October 1,1979.

The shin ing activities authorized by this 3pproval are procurement, mair. ten-ance, repair, and use.
All other shipping activities (i.e.,
design, fabrication, assembly, testing, and modification) shall be satisfied by obtaining certifi-cations f rom package suppliers that these activities were conducted in accordance with an IRC-approved GA program. It shall remain the responsibility of the licensee-user that all transportation activities meet the requirements of 10 CFR 571.51.
