Dear Mr. Crosby:
This is in reply to the information cvpy of your letter dated June 25, 1979, addressed to the Commanding Officer, Naval Air Station, Point Mugu, California, which was received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, wherein you requested, under the Freedom of Information Act, the answers to six- (6) questions concerning the waste material stored in DOT 17H barrels at the ?!aval Air Station, Point Mugu, Cali-fornia.
The NRC has received a copy of Captain J. C. Weaver'c letter dated July 5,1979, sent in cesponse to your request, and we Fave noted its contents.
The NRC does not have any additional comments to add to Captain Weaver's reply to you.
