Docket Nos. 50-498 and 50-499 Gentlemen:
On May 29, 1979, Citizens fer Equitable Utilities, Inc. (CEU) filed a supplement to its original. petition for leave to intervene in the captioned proceeding, which sets forth CEU's reformulated contentions and supplies additional information regarding these contentions. The Staff is considering this supplement in the negotiations and discussions which the Staff is conducting pursuant to the Board's June 8, 1979, Memorandum and Order. At this time, the Staff does not intend to file a separate response to CEU's supplement.
In its report to be filed on July 2, 1979, the Staff will advise the Board as to the status of these negotiations and will present its views on any contentions on which an ac eement has not been reached.
