PRAIRIE IS1AND NUCLEAR GENERATING PIANT Docket Nos. 50-282 License Nos. DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 Schedule for Responding to IE Bulletins 78-12,78-12A, and 78-12B Our letter to you on May 29, 1979 stated that Creusot - Loire, the Prairic Island reactor vessel vendor, has been unable to meet the schedule for sub-mitting vessel fabrication infomation specified in IE Bulletins 78-12,78-12A, and 78-12B. We expected that Creusot - Loire would be able to provide this infomation by mid-June.
Westinghouse has now infomed us that submittal of the infomation being compiled by Creusot - Loire will be delayed until the end of July.
Preliminary review of the information being compiled has shown that more research is required. In addition, the language and distance barriers have lengtheued the time required to comun,1cate with the vendor and explain what is required.
