The Fort St. Vrain Environmental Qualification program was thoroughly re-viewed by NRC-NRR and NRC-I & E Region IV with the Public Service Company of rolorado in 1977 and 1978. All environmental qualification data was reviewed at the site by NRC-I & E Recion IV during this period, and the matter was closed out in Amendment 18 to the Facility Operating License DPR-34, dated October 28, 1977. The most relevent correspondence between PSC and NRC during this peciod are listed in Attachment A to this letter. The environmental qualification of connectors, penetrations, terminal blocks and limii. switches of concern to the NRC wore addressed in separate correspondence, and these documents are also listed in Attachment A.
The documents listed in Attachment A fulfill all .of the requirements for action by the Licensee contained in I & E Bulletin 79-01. In so far as all required action has been completed, to further action is required by PSC on this matter. PSC, therefore, considers I & E P .letin 79-01 to be closed by submittal of this letter.
