(April 12, 1979) the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board specified that l.
- discovery would close on May 31, 1979. Pursuant to that Order and 10 C.F.R.
s2.740a the NRC Staff on May 23, 1979 served notices for taking of depositions i
on Dr. Arthur R. Tamplin, Dr. Thomas R. Cochran, and Mr. Dimitri Rotow for the i
week of May 27, 1979. However, due tr.chedule conflicts involving both the deponents and facilities, the deposttions will not be completed prior to the close of the discovery period on May 31, 1979. Mr. Rotow's deposition was be-gun on May 30, 1979 but was not comple'ed at that time.
Counsel for the Natural Resources Defense Council, who represents the named deponents, has agreed to the schedule for taking the depositions. The deposition of Mr. Notow.illicoontinue at 9:30 a.m. Jane 1,1977 at the Nuclear Regulatory Comission Headquarters,1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
The depositions of Dr. Tamplin and Dr. Cochran will begin at 10:30 a.m.
on June 5, 1979 at the same address.
