Dear Mr. Keppler:
An inspection was conducted by Messrs. J. L. Belanger and J. C. Howell of your office on March 19-23, 1979 of activi ies at Zion Station Units 1 and 2.
As indicated in Reference (a), during this inspection certain activities appeared to be in noncompliance with NRC requirements.
The inspection also showed that action had been taken to correct the first item and to prevent recurrence.
Consequently, no response to that item was required.
Commonwealth Edison Ccmpany's response to the second item of noncompliance is con-tained in Attachment A to this letter.
