This approval is issued to satisfy the..<uirements of Section 71.51 of 10 CFR Part 71. Activities conducted under applicable critcria of Appendix E of 10 CFR Part 71 to be executed with regard to transportation packages by September 1,1979.

The shipping activities authorized by this approval are procurement, mainten-ance, repair, and use. All other shipping activities (i.e., design, f abrication, assembly, testing, and modification) shall be satisfied by obtaining certifi-cations from package suppliers that these activities were conducted in accordance with an IRC-approved CA program. It shall remain the rer?cnsibility of the liceesee-user that all transportation activities meet the requiremerds of 10 CFR @71.51.
