The system was modified to improve both system flow indication and actuation information in he control room.

The District will continue to review the design of the Auxillary Feedwater System and if additional analysis or system enhancemnnts are required, they will be made.

Inteq ated Control Systems Failure Modes and Effects Analysis -

The District is currently reviewing a draf t report of the failure modes and effects analysis.

The review will be complete by July 27, 1979 and returned to Babcock and Wilcox.

Babcock and Wilcox expects to submit the final report to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Staff during the week of July 30, 1979.

The May 7,1979 Nuclear Regulatory Commission Order also required information on the model used in analysis of potential small b rea ks.

Model description is included in the analysis titled " Evaluation of Transient Behavior and Small Break in the 177 Fuel Assembly Plant" submitted by Babcock and Wilcox to the NRC staff on May 7, 1979.

The analysis was for mally transmitted by the B&W letter of May 8,1979 (Taylor to Mattson).
