Dear Sir:
This office has been appointed Special Counsel to the New Jersey Department of Energy in reference to an Application of the Jersey Central Power fc Light Company for an emergency rate increase before the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities Commissioners s t emni n g f rom the reactor incident at Three-Mile Island near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
In preparing this matter we find that we need the following documents:
a.
Any and all Regulatory Guides - relating to nuclear reactor safety which would be applicable to the reactor and facility at Three-Mile Island, Pennsylvania.
b.
A copy of the Statutory Report to the Congress on abnormal occurrences relating to the Three-Mile Island incident.
Copies of Transcripts of NRC investigatory c.
proceedings relating to the Three-Mi e, Island incident.
