APPLIC; TION FOR EXPORT LICENSE, DTD 5/3/79, SOURCE.*GTERIAL TO FRANCE, XUC8461 Purcose:

To inform the Commission of the receipt of a license application.

Discussion:

Enclosed for the information of the Corraission are copies of an application for a license for which Commission action will be necessary.

Copies of the application have been placed in the Public Document Room.

The staff is preparing a paper with its analysis and reccmmendations and will forward it to the Ccmmissioners in the near future.

Commissioners are requested to advise the staff of any particular issues or information which they can identify at this stage and which they wish ir.cluded in the staff's analysis.

Executive Sranch views are not being recuested because of the non-nuclear end use of the material.
