We have receivad your letters of March 22 and 23, 1979, concerning lagoon waste fixation and disposal, and agree that the proposed on-site activities are authorized by your license. Furthermore, this proposed action for permanent disposal of the accumulated on-site calcium fluoride waste accords with th. recortmendatio: on page 3-17 of the Environmental Impa :t Appraisal issued by the ilRC in connection with the renewal of your license. On the basis of the information provided, we expect you to schedule the waste disposal operation so that construction of addi-tional process waste lagoons will be unnecessary and the nycrall effect on the environment will thus be beneficial.
We will file the description of the waste disposal cperation transmitted by the letters of March 22 and 23, with the safety demu.stration for license SilM-1107.
