Reference (1) transmitted the subject I.E. Bulletin to Northeast Nuclear Energy Company requesting appropriate action.
The resulting investigatian has shown that no swing type check valves manufactured by Velan Engineering Corporation will be used in Millstone Unit No. 3 safety related systems.
