Dear Mr. McCorkle:
I Attached are revised pages to the physical security plan for the Vallecitos Nuclear Center (Ref. 2). These revised pages reflect two tvpes of changes:
- 1) changes which have previcusly been submitted in letter form; and 2) several i
minor changes which do not decrease the effectiveness of the physical security plan and which are being reported pursuant to 10CFR70.32(e).
A surmiary of the changes is given below:
1.
Pages iv, vi, 1-4, 2-2, 3-2, 4-2, 4-3, 5-4, 7-2, 7-3, and 11-1: These

pages reflect changes that have occurred to the designations of security posts.

Pages 2-6 and 2-8: These pages reflect a change in a' vital area designation not made in previous revisions.
3.
Page 3-3: The revision on this page reflects that hazardous materials shall be searched by the receivers upon requcst of security.

Page 3-4: The revision on this page reflects the usage of a hand held SNM Detector.

Page 3-7:
The revisions on this page are to reflect the option to use electronic access control.

Page 5-2: The revisions enthis page are to reflect the requirement changes in 10CFR73, Appendix B.

Page 5-6: The revision to this diagram reflects the reorganization of VNC.
