Affidavits by William S. Bivins and Robert M. Goldstein,-1/

NRC Staff Assessment of Impacts Associated with the Delivery of the Reactor Pressure Vessels.

The Staff's assessment of impacts associated with the delivery of the Reactor Pressure Vessels is in response to a Board request. Chairman Jensch requested this assessment in order for the Staff to determine if its evaluation of these impacts, as presented in the Skagit FES and FES Final Supplement, v.culd remain unchanged after a review of the applicant's detailed delivery plans

The affidavit of Robert M. Goldstein has not been signed or notorized due to his location at Argone Natioral Laboratory, Elinois. We will submit an executed affidavit at a f,ttu.e date.

. which were submitted under cover letter dated April 24, 1978. The Staff's assessment concludes that the impacts are insignificant and, therefore, remain unchanged from the Evaluation set forth in the FES and Final Supplement.

Unless a request is made by July 2,1979 to have Mr. Bivins and Dr. Goldstein available for examination, the Staff intends to merely offer these affidavits into evicience.
