Dear Mr. Engelken,
I.E.Bulletin 79-01 was received by the Sacramento Municipal Utility District on February 12, 1979.
This Bulletin requests verification of the er.vironmental qualification of safety related electrical equipment.
The District has assembled the data needed to respond tu this Bulletin.
A preliminary review of this data indicates that documentation is available which verifies the acceptability of all safety related electrical equipment.
However, a detailed review and compilation of this data to properly respond to the Bulletin has been delayed due to the efforts required to respond to Bulletins79-05A, 79-05B and Commission Order 7590-01 resulting from the Three-Mile Island Unit 2 incident.
The effort to review and organize the data for a response to Bulletin 79-01 is proceeding on a priority basis and we now believe that July 12, 1979 is a realistic date for submittal of our response.
He feel you are in agreement with our order of priorities and unless we are advised otherwise, we will proceed toward a completion date of July 12, 1979 instead of June 12, 1979 as requested by the Bulletin.
