50-254 Company Based on the inspection conducted on March 15, 16, 21 and 22, 1979, April 3-5, 18, 19, 23, 24 and 27, 1979, and May 8, 1979, it appears that certain of your activities were in noncompliance with NRC requirements, as noted below.
This item is an infraction.
Technical Specification 3.7.A.3.a states, in part, that two pressure suppression chamber-reactor building vacuum breakers in each line shall be operable at all times when primary containment integrity is required.
Contrary to the above, on April 26, 1979, for a period of 1 hour1.157407e-5 days <br />2.777778e-4 hours <br />1.653439e-6 weeks <br />3.805e-7 months <br /> and on April 27, 1979, for a period of 3 houts, the automatic mode of operation for these vacuum breakers was not available and primary containment integrity was required during these time periods.
