EAR REGt1LATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-346 THE TOLEDO EDISON COMPANY AND THE CLEVELAND ELECTRIC ILLUMINATING COMPANY NOTICE ~0F ISSUANCE 10_F AMENDMENT'TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has issued Amendment No.17 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3, issued to the Toledo Edison Company and The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company (the licensees),
which revised the license for operation of the Davis
._;se Nuclear Power Station, The amendment is Unit No.1 (the facility), located in Ottawa County, Ohio.
effective as of its date of issuance.
The amendment modifies License Condition 2.C.(3)(k) as it relates to the schedule for performing noise and isolation testing.
The application for amendment complies with the standards and' requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the and regulations.
Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the~: license amendment. Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
The Commission has determined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental impact and bat pursuant to 10 CFR 551.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in coni:ection with issuance of this ame.;dment.
