Gentlemen:
As per a request from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission regarding clarification of the amount of B10 in the LACBWR peison material, the B C Composite poison material to be installed in the LACBWR 4
10 concentration high density fuel racks is manufactured to a B 10 2
not less than 0.030 gms B
/cm.
After simultancous exposure to demineralized water and a gamma radiation dose of 10" Rads, the BIO concentration will be not less than 0.024 gms B10/cm2 as verified by recent tests performed by Carborundum Company.
