The Seismic Qualification Review Team, as a followup action to their visit to the site of the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant, requested that additional information on safety related equipment be furnished by November 18, 1977.
This request was transmitted to us in enclosures 1 and 2 to Mr. Karl Kniel's letter dated October 20, 1977.
Our response to this request was transmitted to you on November 17, 1977.
This response
'did not, furnish information for item III-7 and parts of item III-3..contained in enclosure 1 to Mr. Kniel's October 20, 1977 letter.
Attached is additional information to complete response to the-item III-3.
Also attached is updated information for all but, two of the items addressed in item III-7.
The Agastat Time Delay Relay by Elastic Stop-Nut Corporation and the Mercoid pressure switches are the items lacking updated information.
- However, we are enclosing vendor's plans for updating the qualifications of these components.
The updated information, when published, will be transmitted for your review.
The attached information is being supplied in response to the requirements of license condition 2.C(3)(r) of Operating License No.'PR-74 for the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant Unit No.
2.
We hereby request a license amendment, to remove license condition 2.C(3)(r) and,, in accordance, with the requirements for a class III license amendment specified in 10 CFR 170.22, we are enclosing a check for
$4,000.00.
