Please provide a s+.atement which shows that the American Airlines Maintenance and Engineering c nter recognizes that the final responsibility for the quality assurance program for 10 CFR Part 71 requirements rests with the center.
2.
In part D, indicate who (by title) is responsible to assure that all radioactive material shipping packages are designed and manufactured under a QA Program approved by Nuclear Regulatory Commission for all packages designed or fabricated after the effective date of the QA Program.
This is often the responsibility of the Radiation Safety Officer, and it can be satisfied by receiving a proper certification from the manufacturer.
3.
In part G, indicate who (by position title) is responsible to ensure that regulatory required inspections and tests are performed by the radiographers.
4.
In part I, nrovide a statement that auditors have no responsibility in the activities they audit.
