May 7,1979 Th Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Department of Energy are holding a series of informational exchange meetings on the subject
.o of radioactive waste repositories. The public is inv.ited to attend these meetings as observers if they so desire.
It is anticipated that most of these meetings will be held at the NRC offices in Silver Spring, Maryland.
The NRC will publish a meeting notice specifying the date, time, location, and subject to notify interested members of the public of each of these mee tings. The notice will be made available at the Commission's Public Document Room,1717 H Street, N.W., Wushington, D.C., and will be sent out to interested parties and individuals on a standard distribution lis t.
