Engineering Company.
On December 27, 1978, NECO submitted an application for approval of its Quality Assurance program under 10 CFR 71.51.
At that time, Protective Packaging, Inc.
(PPI) was a wholly-owned subsidiary of ':ECO, and therefore, PPI's quality assurance program was used as a reference.
In January, 1.9 7 9, Teledyne Energy Systems acquired PPI as an entity, out from under NECO, so to speak.
However, NECO remains as an independent company within the framework of the overall Teledyne, Inc., corporate organization, and is not owned or controlled by Teledyne Energy Systems.
The conclusion to be reached, we feel, is that comments or questions regarding NECO's QA approval application should be directed to NECO, as Teledyne Energy Systems is not an interested party to that applica tion.
We recommend contacting:
Dr. Thomas 5.
