Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

In response to IE Bulletin 79-11, Faulty Overcurrent Trip Device in Circuit Breakers for Engineered Safety Systems, dated May 22,19 79, Alabama Power Company submits the following response for Farley Units 1 and 2.

Westinghouse circuit breakers type DB-50 and DB-75 with over-current time delay dashpots are not used at Farley Units 1 or 2.

Items 2 through 4 de not apply because this type of breaker is not use d.
