SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE OPERATION:
The plant began the month in cold shutdown for annual maintenance and surveillance testing.
Plant recovery began on 6-30-79 when heatup began.
MAJOR SAFETY-RELATED MAINTENANCE:

Work continued on improvement modifications to the plant Security and Fire Protection Systems.
Integrated and Local Leak Rate Testing was completed.
Work continued on the upgrading of pipe hangers for seismic loadings.
Work continued on the pipe support anchor bolt survey and repair.
Work was completed on the modification to pressurizer level and pressure coincidence SI trip to delete the level coincidence requirement.
Work was completed on the elocation and upgrade of Containment hydrogen purge valve MO-10010.
LICENSE CRANGES:
Amendment 41, LCR-79-13, LCA-5'+; Deletion of pressurizer level coincidence trip with pressurizer pressure trip for safety injection.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Work began on the installation of a motor-driven auxiliary feedwater pump.
Work began on the installation of alternate measurement means to pressurizer and steam generator levels.
Work was completed on the incore flux thimble tube cleanout.
Work was completed on feedwater heater and condenser tube-leak plugging, Work was completed on the replacement of A and B condenser boot seals.
Inspection was completed on the steam generator nozzle welds.
Work was completed on tne rebalancing of Reactor Coolant Pump "B".
Work was completed on the Whittaker feedwater isolation calves to move the accumulators and replace the limit switches.
