_ Cap Gun System Ir.3pectad the installation of trays, conduits, switchgear, fans and power cables for the T.V. and crane equipment.
Installation work still being performed.
Comments The following items were discussed with the licensee:
Installation of the 13.2 KV tr3asformer cables, trays and grounding metho(*..
Separation of power and control cables in trays and inside eqc'ement.
Tie down of power cables in trays.
Cable break-outs of cable trays.
NRR Inouts at Site The above itcms were discussed with both IE and flRR personnel at site. fiRR directed the licensee to correct tne above conditions identified by the inspector with the exception of the separation of power and control cables.
ftRR at this t.me is accepting the power, control and instrumentation cable separa-tion problem in both trays and equipment. The power output of the Gray and White Diesels is being looked at by t;RR to determine if the Turbine Building installation is acceptable. Both outputs of the Gray and White Diesels are together at this poin' in the installation.
Due to dirt during the installation process in the diesel control system fcr the Gray Diesel, the inspector recom: ended a complete cleaning and main.tenance program be instituted prior to the system being put in service.
Durino che diesel control check out, relays were hanging up and it appeared that dirt, grit, etc. may have been the cause for some of the relay problem.
The licensee indicated he would evaluate the above condition.
