SUBJECT:
TMI CLERICAL ASSISTANCE With reference to Region I Announcement ao. 79/20, dated April 17, 1979, the following information is provided.
I was asked if I wished to go to the Three Mile Island Incident Site to provide clerical assistance during the incident.
I accepted.
.My first tour of duty began March 31, 1979, at which time Margaret Coyle and I arrived at the Cbservation Center at 2:32 p.m.
During my tour of duty I pro-vided such clerical assistance as typing, running xerox and telecopy machines, answering telephones and helped set up the NRC Administrative Trailer onsite.
My duty hou-s varied as it was the first week of the incident and confusion and time tables were experimental.
I spent the major part of my duty hours working on the 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. shift.
Margaret Coyle and I departed from Three Mile Island on April 6, 1979 at 3:00 p.m. and arrived back in the Region I Office at 4:45 p.m.
