SUBJECT:

REPORT OF ACTIVITIES AT TILREE MILE ISI.AND

w. H. Schult: arrived at TMI at approximately noon on April 26, 1979, for check-in and issuance of a TLD badge and security ID badge.

He reported for work at 11:30 p.=. on the 26th as an off-site environ = ental

=onitor.

These duties were carried out through the.=orning of May 11.

During this period the principal activity carried out was =aking direct reading radiation surveys and taking air sa=ples at various locations off-site on the Eas and West sides of the river.

In addition, various data supplied by in-plant personnel was received by telephone and recorded. This latter activity was carried out only occasionally.

Since essentially all work performed during this period was off-site there was no opportunity to observe licensee personnel carrying out various operations at the site.

Contact with IE and/or NRC personnel was =inimal during the two week period. However, it appeared that personnel from the various regions interacted smoothly and efficiently.
