ACTIVITIES AT THREE MILE ISi20 I arrived at TMI at about 1630 hours0.0189 days <br />0.453 hours <br />0.0027 weeks <br />6.20215e-4 months <br /> o, arch 30, 1979.
I was assigned to the environ = ental =cnitoring team and began working a straight 2400 -
0800 shift and this assignment cor.tinued from March 31 until April 9, 1979.
At about 0830 on April 9,1979 ' departed the D1I site and returned to RIII.
My duties were shift leader of the envirormental =ot.itoring team.
In this capacity I directed the team in the field by relay.'ng the latest vind speed and direction and current plant condition.

Interaction with the licensee was minimal.
They were ebserved by the team naking offsite measurements as we were.
Contact with licensee personnel in the observation post /coccand center found them *o be knowledgable and efficient.
We exchanged =onitoring data once per shift arl they seemed appreciative of our input.
IE/NRC operation were all in all ver/ good, with some understandable periods of confusion.
In my opinion, the cooperation among and between agency groups and individuals on the whole was super.
