MEETIflG HELD ON MAY 10, 1979 TO DISCUSS COOPER QUALITY ASSURAtlCE PROGRAM On May 10, 1977 representatives of Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) met with the NRC Staff in Bethesda, Maryland. Attachment A lists attendees.
NPPD's tentative responses to NRC Staff questions sent by letter dated March 13, 1979 were discussed.
These questions concerned Section 8.0 of Cooper Quality Assurance Program which identifies exceptions to flRC guidance on quality assurance.
It was pointed out that most of these questions arose because the Staff needs clear commitment by NPPD to Standard or Regulatory Guides, with exceptions expressed in a Mutually understandable manner.
NPPD will modify their tentative responses to the March 13 questions based on these discussions. NPPD expects to submit the modified responses by June 1, 1979.
