Dr.

Powers, Mail Stop J26

Dear Dr. Powers:

This will serve to confirm our phone conversation on this date in which we discussed the MSA 466221 GMR-C chin canister (NIOSH-MSHA approval

  1. TC-14G-105).

The current unpainted "large size" GMR 88182 canisters you may receive and now have in your possession are the exact same canisters as the 466221.

The only dif ference is the labeling which we are unable to supply at this time.

Because of the labeling problem and the recent surge in demand for this type of canister, it is probable that any shipments that can be made in the near future against your order #33GC9970 and #334C9817 will contain the 466221 GMR-C canisters with the 88162 GMR labels on them.

Hopefully this inconvenience will be eliminated in late May by having the proper labeling available.

I hope this information will be of some assistance to you.

Sincerely, M'd[
