We have reviewed your license renewal application dated February 15, 1979, and find it contains no allowance for internal reviews and approvals of modifications to your operations. As we have discussed, your new license shculd allow greater flexibility for you to make changes without requiring atendment of your license. 'his recommendation was made to the late Dr. J. W. Ross and Messrs. F. L. Sherman and D. Talan when we met in January, 1978 to discuss the fcrmat and content of your renewal application and re-emphasized during aur participation in an inspection of your facility on ' larch 21-23, 197E.
Accordingly, w? request that you and/or members of your staff meet with us here in Silver Spring, Maryland to discuss in detail the desired format and content of your application.
Mr. N. Ketzlach, of my staff, will contact your Mr. C. Hopper to arrange a mutually agreeable date.
In the meantime, your renewal application has bc.o accepted and pursuant to Section 70.33(b) of 10 CFR 70, your existing license shall not expire until the application for a renewal is finally determined by the Commission.
