analvsis of charcoal with resoect t,o Pu-238, La-142, and Np-239 mn taken ' rom the same lot used in the adsorbers at TM I - 2 s n owe d that the base charcoal had been contaninated with Pu-23E, rossibly as a result o' the chinese bomb tests (charcoal used at TMI came from Phillipines co:onuts).
Kovack esta:lishec that the La-142 (Ti - 92 min) identi'ied ir -he initial results was in error.
