Dear Mr. Hendrie:

I am writing you this letter to urge yuu to prevent the dumping of water from the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant. As Mayor of the City of Lancaster, I am gravely concerned about the consequences to the public water supply, which is drawn from the Susquehanna River.

Approximately 105,000 people use water provided by the City of Lancaster's water system. Their physical and mental well-being, in regards to the water system, is ultimately my responsibility.

I am urging you to also make the" well-being one of your con-siderations in making a final dec. ion as to the dumping of water in the Susquehanna.

I urge you to prevent the possible hazardous i

I dumping of water into the Susquehanna.

Sincerely, M

Albert B. Wohlsen, r
