Revision 0 THREE MILE ISLAND NUCLEAR STATION STATION ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE 1032 DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION A.
GENERAL 1.0 PURPOS_E The purpose of this procedure is to define the method used to document dissemination of information to respective department personnel through departmental meetings or routing slips.
2.0 SCOPE The scope of this procedure is limited to information that could directly affect nuclear safety or the quality of work on sifety related components.
An example of such information would be a Licensee Event Report where knowledge of the previous incident could help prevent recccurrence.
This procedure does not apply to formal training programs since training records should be used to document dissemination of information in those programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Supervisors / Foreman.
As directed by their department heads, the Supervisors / Foremen will disseminate the required information by routing or during departmental meetings.
Documentation of the method and extent of the training will be returned to the department head for filing.

Department Head.
The department head or personnel within his department may designate information to be of a nature that documentation of its aistribution within the department is werranted.
The department head is responsible to assure that a department file is established to m;intain records of the distribution of designated information.
C.
PROCEDURE 1.
The department head or supervisor who designates information for dissemination within the department shall determine the extent and method for the dissemination.
2.
A routing slip (see Enclosure 1 for an example) may be used as documentation for dissemination of information.
3.
Where departmental meetings are used the following information should be documented.

The department records on dissemination of information should be maintained for a minimum of two (2) years.
NOTE:
There is a large volume of information distriouted that is of general interest.
It is noc intended that information distributed for general information be documented.
