2.0 LIMITS AND PRECAUTIONS 2.1 Ensure that filter media cartridges on each Rolle type filter do not exceed a maximum differential (0.5" WG1 and the filters are replaced when exhausted.
2.2 Assure that at least one supply air fan is in operation at all times when power is available.
2.3 If power is lost, a supply air fan must be restarted at Panel 316 or the local pushbutton.

2.5 The Neutralizer Tank Exhaust Fan, AH-E-39, should be in operation whenever neutralizing with WT-P-9 or when regenerations are in progress on L. A. Water Treatment (Nater Treatment / Condensate Polishing) in order to minimize obnoxious odors in the Turbine Building.
3.0 PREREQUISITES Initial Each Steo 3.1 Instrument Air is available per 2101-2.3.
3.2 The following Motor Control Centers are energized and the folicwing Breakers are CLOSED.

3.5 Fire Protection System for the Turbine Bldg. Area is in operation per 2104-6.1.
3.6 Turbine Building Ambient termostats (AH-TS-5810-5825) set at 50 F, controlling the Turbine Building radiant heaters.
4.0 OPERATION 4.1 Turbine Building Area H&V System Startup.
4.1.1 PLACE the local control switches for AH-F-38, AH-F-39 and A3-r'-40 in the AUTO position on Panel 316.
There is no status change.
4.1.2 On Panel 316 PLACE the control switches for AH-E-1, AH-E-2, AH-E-3, and AH-E-39 to the START posi tion and release to the NORMAL position.
VEP.IFY the fars are running as 5
indicated by the red lights on Panel 316.
4.1.3 PLACE the local control switches for the Turbine Building Elevator Machine' Room Fan (AH-E-38) to the AUTO position.
NOTE:
Fan will start when the room temperature is greater than 90 F.
4.1.4 PLACE the local control switches for the Turbine Building Radiant Heaters, AH-C-4A through AH-C-4J, AH-C-5A through AH-C-5E, and AH-C-6A through AH-C-6G in the AUTO position.
NOTE:
The fan and heater will be energized only if the ambient building temperature is below 50 F.
4.1.5 PL4CE the local control switch for the Oil Drum Storage Room Fan AH-E-61 to the ON position.
4.2 Turbine Building Area H&V System Normal Operation.

Revision 0 04/09/77 4.2.1 AH-E-1 controls for damper operation, AH-TIC-5506 posi tions the outside air (D5181A) and return air (D51818) dampers I
as well as associated roof ventilator dampers (AH-E-36 A, C, E, and G).
As temperature drops to 50 F:
D5181A closes, D51818 opens, AH-E-36A, C, E, and G closes, and unit heaters AH-C-6F and 6G op.erate from AH-TIC-5506 to maintain 50 F.
4.2.2 AH-E-2 controls for damper operation, AH-TIC-5523 positions the outside air (D5'91A) and return air (D5191B) dampers as well as associated roof ventilator dampers (AH-E-36B, D and F and AH-E-37D).
As temperature drops to 50 F:
D5191A closes, D51918 opens, AH-E-368, D and F and AH-E-37D close and unit heaters AH-C-60 and 6E operate from AH-TIC-5523 to maintain 50 F.
4.2.3 AH-E-3 controls 'for damper operation, AH-TIC-5523 positions th + outside air (05190Al and return air (D51908) dampers as well as t.ssociated roof ventilator dampers (AH-E-37A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and Il.
As temperature drops to 50 F:
D5190A closes, D51908 oper s, AH-E-37A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H AND I close and unit heaters AH-C-6A, B and C operate from AH-TIC-5523 to maintain 50 F.
4.2.4 The motors for AH-F-38, AH-F-39 and AH-F-40 will advance the air filters media with a high differential (0.5" WG) across the filters., There are alarms which init when the filter cartridge is ccmpletely exhausted.
The cartridges

have to be replaced at this time to prevent fan damage.

4.2.5 ENERGIZE the radiant heaters AH-C-2A thru 2R and AHC-3A/38 from the Turbine Building Operating floor (331" elev) and control as necessary.
4.3 Turbine Building H&V System Shutdown 4.3.1 PLACE the local control ceiiches for the following roll-aire filters to the CFF position.
There is no status charige.

4.4 Special or Infrequent Operations of the Turbine Building H&V System.
4.4.1 Continual Operation of Turbine Building Elevator Room Fan.
4.4.i.1 If continual operation of the Turbine Building Elevator Maching Room Fan is desired, PLACE the local control switch to the FAN position.
