Pev}ision0 APR 2 3 dI9 02/27/73 THREE MIME ISLAND NUCLEAR STATION UNIT #2 SURVEILLANCE PROCECURE 2303-R3 ESFAS RESPONSE TIME TESTING 1.0 PURPOSE 1.1 To ensure ccmpliance with the Unit 2 Technical Specifications, Section 4.3.2.1.3, which states that the response time of each ESFAS function shall be demonstrated to be within the limits at least once per 18 months.
2.0 APPLICABLE SURVEILLANCE FREQUENCY AN3 MODES 2.1 Surveillance Frequency:
18 months (R) 2.2 Surveillance Modes: 1,2,3 3.0 LIMITS AND PRECAUTIONS 3.1 Shif t Supervisor / Foreman must be notified prior tc removi : any sensor frcm service.
3.2 Prior to connecting test leads to bistable c;c. tacts, mai: ort voltage at contacts to assure contacts are de-energizea.
3.3 Performance of the response time tests of SFAS Sistable Cabinets will prcduce single channel safety injecticn trip signale ta both A and B actuations. Assure that no safety injection channels are tripped prior to testing bistable cabinets.
3.4 Exercise care when attaching test lead: and l'f ting leads in relay cabinets as 120 VAC may be presetn at the connection points.
