SUBJECT:

THREE MILE ISLAND During the period March 28 to April 1,1979, I was primarily engaged in telephone conversations relating to the Three Mile Island (TMI)

Incident Following notification of the accident at approximately 7:45 AM c' March 28, I spent the next three days (thru Friday, March 30 COB) exclu:,ively in telephone conversations with either State personnel in California, Oregon and Washington, with Headquarters personnel or with other Federal officials in Regions IV and V.

During this period, I had approximately 35 telephone conversations with various individuals in the three categories above. Over the weekend of March 31-April 1, I had approximately seven additional telephone conversations related to TMI either with OSP Headquarters or State officials. Through the month of April I would estimate that 80% of my time was related to TMI.
