TMI-l OPERATII;G SUTRRY The Unit operated at 100% full power for the entire conth except for a 2 hour2.314815e-5 days <br />5.555556e-4 hours <br />3.306878e-6 weeks <br />7.61e-7 months <br /> planned reduction on 8-5-78 for Turbine Stop Valve Testing.
Of significance concerning this valve testing is the change in power level at which the testing is conducted. Recent approval from B&'d and Genera-tion Engineering now permits this testing to be conducted at 65% vs. 50%.
In an effort to improve condenser performance, abrasive amertap balls were substituted for the normal soft sponge amertap balls for a total cf approx-imately 15 days.
(Five 3-day test periods)
Although our testing and data reductis-is not complete, cursory review of the data does not conclusively demonstrate an improvement in condenser perforcance.
