BOARD NOTIFICATION - B&W REACIOR VESSEL WELD MATERIAL (BN-78-5)
Our memorandum to you of August 21. 1978 on this subject recotraended notifying the Three Mile Island-2 Board on the possible use of out-of-specification weld material in the pressure vessel.
The enclosed licensee response to the staff on this concern should be pro-vided to the THI-2 Board as followup infomation. The Board would normally have received this document under the routine transmittal of docketed infomation. However, the administrative techniques of handling incoming infomation are still being worked out so we recommend that it be trans-mitted through OELD.
