r letter dated April 4,1979 in which you requested, pursuant h the Freedom of Information Act, copies of the reportable events or abnormal occurrence files for the Yankee Atomic Electric Company's nuclear power plant located at Rowe, Massachusetts.
As stated in a June 4,1979 telephone conversation with Mr. Stephen Isaacs of my staff, the NRC has no reportable events or abnormal occurrence files for the period November 10, 1960 through 1965.
The type of information you requested is contained in the semiannual, or annual, operating reports produced by the Yankee Atomic Electric Co.
These reports were required by the original Safety Analysis Report (SAR) as amended and are contained within the Yankee Rowe file located in the Local Public Document Room (LPt/1), Greenfield Community College,1 College Drive, Greenfield, MA.
